摘要：Centralizers of matrices were studied by G. F. Frobenius in 1877. He proved a nice formula for the dimension of the centralizer of a matrix in terms of the degrees of its invariant factors. In this talk, we continue the study of centralizers of matrices. Our objective is to characterize derived and Morita equivalences of centralizer matrix algebras over a field by new equivalence relations on matrices in terms of elementary divisors. In this way, the problem of describing categorical equivalences is then reduced to the one of matrix equivalences in linear algebra. The contents of the talk present parts of a joint work with X.G. Li.
报告人简介：惠昌常教授于1989年在德国Bielefeld大学获博士学位，师从国际著名代数学家Ringel教授。回国后，先后在北京师范大学和首都师范大学任教授和博导。现为首都师范大学特聘教授。曾获教育部科技进步二等奖、德国“年轻杰出学者洪堡奖”。多次主持国家自然科学基金面上项目和重点项目。惠昌常教授在代数表示论和同调代数等领域有许多杰出的工作，相关科研成果发表在Compos. Math., Crell’s J., Math. Ann., Proc. Lond. Math. Soc., Adv. Math.等国际著名数学杂志上。目前担任J. Algebra，Archiv der Math.等数学期刊的编委。
